Conspiracy theories are gaining traction.

• Suspicious ballot routing in Ohio
• Strange numbers from Palm Beach County and the rest of Florida
• Correlations between exit polling discrepancies and use of paperless voting machines are being widely cited.
• Correlations between deviation from party registration and voting machines. (N.B. “no conclusions can yet be drawn from this data and analyses.”)

Lest I come across as too partisan, I’ll assert that any event on the scale of our national elections is bound to have a few anamolies, and clearly the swing states are going to get a lot of scrutiny from the losing party.

Regardless, the integrity of the electoral system is critical to our democracy and anything fishy deserves investigation. Thankfully there are folks on the case to restore public confidence.
