Moving on
Since most have realized that running is not viable, the blogosphere is becoming rife with suggestions for getting through the next four years. I’m calling for some Presidential containment, but other reactions are noteworthy.
Many have called on the Democratic party to build infrastructure over the next four years and be better prepared to communicate in 2008.
Others believe it is time to start over.
Greg Knauss calls for a return to the age of reason but I agree with someone’s comment that perhaps empathy is at a greater deficit; we’ve got no shortage of social intelligence.
C. B. Shapiro would appreciate it if red states would kindly secede and leave us alone. This sounds like a call for states’ rights, an issue that seems to be migrating away from the Republican platform now that they control the Union.
I posted this in November 2004 during week 1600.
